About
I'm Alex Schouleur, a data scientist in Brussels who races long-course triathlon. By day I build data and AI systems for companies; the rest of the time I swim, ride and run, and I could not find a race predictor that told me how sure it was. So I built one, and I publish the analysis nobody else does: what the numbers actually say about pacing, transitions, course choice and finish times — with the uncertainty shown, not hidden.
Everything here is free. The predictor runs in your browser and never sees your files. Every article ends with its method and its sources, and the field statistics come from an open dataset of 665,769 real finishers. When the predictor is wrong, you will read it here first.
